Meet the Team!

Miss Ami

Miss Ami grew up in Hastings and attended Laton Ash Dance School from the age of 2 to 20. During her 18 years of training Ami successfully competed in many local dance festivals, achieved graded examinations, performed in local pantomimes and shows. It was during this time Ami first assisted young dancers lessons and her love of teaching was created!

Ami went on to achieve her teaching qualifications in Chichester, achieving DDE level in Ballet, Modern and Tap. She has also since qualified as an Acrobatic Arts teacher.

Ami has run Tenterden Dance Academy since January 2017 and is enjoying seeing the school and pupils grow and flourish every day!

In September 2020 Tenterden Dance Academy merged with Charlotte Hudson School of Dance and we hope that this brings pupils a wealth of new opportunities.

Ami also runs after school dance and acro clubs at Primary Schools in Hastings. She has taught and choreographed dance within the schools P.E. lessons and as part of this enabled children to perform in Time To Dance at The White Rock Theatre in 2019 and 2020.

Ami holds a full DBS, is fully insured and is First Aid Qualified
